Participants can attend one of six senior center locations: Boiling Springs Community Park, Lyman United Methodist Church, Northwest Center, Timken Community Center, T.W. Edwards Community Center, or Woodruff Leisure Center. The programs are based on the 7 dimensions of wellness: social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, occupational, intellectual, and physical. Each day the sites meet, participants are offered a minimum of 4 unique activities as well as lunch. Meal Delivery

Mobile Meals of Spartanburg is one of the partners in SCOA. After being approved for home delivered meals by the Appalachian Council of Governments, Mobile Meals does an assessment. Once both are completed, anyone who is eligible will receive a home delivered meal Monday - Friday. Not only does the meal meet the nutritional guidelines from the Lieutenant Governor's Office on Aging, the meal is delivered by a caring volunteer who is concerned about the recipient's wellbeing.
