The ARK of SC's mission is to provide hope and relief to families living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia. The South Carolina Assistive Technology Program (SCATP) is a federally funded program concerned with getting technology into the hands of people with disabilities so that they might live, work, learn and be a more independent part of the community. Our goal is to enhance independence, productivity and quality of life for all South Carolinians through access to assistive technology devices and services.

Mobility Plus Sells and Services a variety of Mobility products to get you where you want to go in style and comfort! Mobility Plus offers Mobility Scooters, Powered Wheelchairs (PWC), Lifts to fit your vehicle, stairway or home entrance. 

We have devices for inside your home as well. 

Mobility Plus carries Bathroom Safety Devices, Stair Lifts, Lift Chairs, Toilet Lifts and Ramps for doorways and entrances. 

Our Rental Program includes Scooters, PWC's, Lift Chairs, Manual Wheelchairs, Rollators and Knee Walkers. If your need is short term, RENT instead of buy!

Mobility Plus's Battery Service can be performed at the store or at your location.

Mobility Plus offers a Steam Sanitizing Cleaning Service to kill harmful bacteria that could linger on your device. Steam reaches places that wipes and liquids can't.

Established in 1914 as a private charitable trust, The Crane Fund grants aid to qualifying former employees of Crane Company who are experiencing financial insecurity and are unable to be self-supporting because of age or physical disability. 

ACTS- partner with churches, organizations, and individuals to provide assistance to our neighbors in need.

Shoreline Behavioral Health Services addresses the problem of alcohol and substance abuse in Horry County by providing individualized, recovery based treatment and community prevention services.

Greater Greenwood United Ministry, established in 1995, is a 501c3 non-profit organization that assists individuals in the community with spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. With the help of a partnership with Christian churches, business, and industries, the Ministry helps individuals move beyond their life or medical crisis to make better life choices that will help them sustain themselves and their families.

We offer a free medical clinic for people without insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. We also offer a monthly mobile Free Medical Clinic for the Saluda area. 

Sumter Senior Services is a non-profit organization designated as the focal point for aging services in Sumter County for programs, services, information and advocacy for older adults. The mission is to provide opportunities for physical, mental, and emotional wellness which support independence and enrich the quality of life for older adults. 

Services include meal opportunities (home-delivered meals and group dining meals) and senior centers.  Low and no-cost services are available.  Volunteer opportunities (AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP) are available each weekday.   

Able SC is a Disability Justice Nonprofit Organization and Center for Independent Living seeking transformational changes in systems, communities, and individuals. 

Our Mission: 

• Equip people with disabilities with tools to foster pride and direct their lives. 
• Educate the community to challenge stereotypes and eliminate barriers. 
• Advocate for access, equity, and inclusion at the individual, local, state, and national level. 

We also provide youth transition services. As an organization staffed and board-directed by a majority of people with disabilities ourselves, we understand the needs of youth, their families, and the professionals supporting them in ways that other agencies may not.
