Assisting Angels Homecare provides non medical care for clients in homes and facilities. Assisting Angels provides companionship and conversation, personal care to include bathing, toileting and incontinence care, medication reminders, appointment arranging, transportation and errands, transfer assistance, exercise encouragement, light housekeeping, meal prep, Alzheimer's/Dementia Care, Respite Care, and Post Surgical Care.

We are a comprehensive resource for those in Aiken, Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Calhoun and Orangeburg counties. The Lower Savannah Council of Governments  helps develop, write and administer grants; provides research and data for planning and decision-making; offers access to the Aging, Disability & Transportation Resource Center and coordinates the region’s workforce development programs.

Memory Fit provides Memory Training as a prevention for the development of dementia.  Our Memory Training courses are 4 weeks each month for a total of 12 weeks.  Memory Foundation is week one in which participants learn about the brain.  Memory Everyday starts week two through week 10 in which participants learn the types of memory we use daily, strategies to navigate real life everyday memory issues, the Big 4 Factors for the prevention of dementia, and food that support brain and heart health.  Participants are encouraged to attend and participate all 12 weeks to receive the fullest benefit from our Memory Training courses.  All participants receive a complimentary memory assessment.  Please visit our website at memoryfit1.com to learn more.  You may also contact a Certified Memory Trainer at 803-205-4006 for additional information or questions.  This program is ideal for individuals with normal age-related memory complaints.  Our courses is not for people diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer's Disease. Sumter Senior Services is a non-profit organization designated as the focal point for aging services in Sumter County for programs, services, information and advocacy for older adults. The mission is to provide opportunities for physical, mental, and emotional wellness which support independence and enrich the quality of life for older adults.

Love House Academy's Senior Day Program is designed for retired adults over the age of 60 who are looking for a place to remain healthy in Mind, Body, and Soul.  It is for Lowcountry seniors who seek a reputable local organization to help them enjoy life to its fullest.  Our Senior Day Program is also ideal for seniors who may otherwise be isolated in their home environment.

Love House Academy's Senior Day Program is free and open to the public.  Currently we are only delivering frozen meals to senior's residence for those who qualify.  If you are in need of free meals to be delivered to your residence due to medical, health, or inabilities, please contact us for support.

Beaufort County has a large number of grandparents raising grandkids.  If you or someone you know is in need of affordable after-school and/or summer care, our Learning Academy services for students (children must be at least five years old) may be a good fit.  The Learning Academy focuses on continual educational opportunities when school is out of session and supports academics, attendance, positive behavior, and healthy choices in mind, body, and soul.  Please see our website for details or call for more information.

About Our Director:

Co-Pastor Theresa Roberts is an influential icon in her Beaufort County community through her outreach ministries and public involvement.  She attentively mentors and supports seniors, children, teens, young adults, and women.  Her passion for seeing lives changed has resulted in the $1-A-Day After School Program, the Love House Learning Academy, the Summer Learning Academy, and the Senior Day Program.  Theresa is by far a trailblazer when it comes to supporting the community and helping to bridge the gap between vulnerable people and accessible services that improve quality of life.

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department has forged a strong relationship with Project Lifesaver. This partnership allows us to use Project Lifesaver's technology to quickly track and locate individuals who are prone to wander from their homes.  You may contact Sgt. When you enroll your loved one in the program, you will receive a small personal Project Lifesaver transmitter.   This transmitter is worn on the wrist or ankle and emits an individualized tracking signal. If an enrolled Project Lifesaver client goes missing, the caregiver notifies the Department and deputies respond to the wanderer's area. Most clients who wander are found a few miles from home, and search times are reduced from hours and days to minutes. Recovery times for PLI clients average 30 minutes which is a 95 percent less time than standard operations.

Help low-income homeowners with low interest, long term loans to have a water well drilled or rehabilitated if they are currently living without a water supply.

We provide Guardianship, Guardian Ad Litem, Conservator, and Fiduciary services for vulnerable or incapacitated individuals.  We have been providing these services since 2015 in South Carolina (and can also provide services in North Carolina).  

Care Partners LLC is owned by Seth Zamek.  Seth holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration, is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician and a Certified Dementia Care Specialist.  Seth has over 30-years experience in the healthcare and guardianship field, most recently as the owner and Executive Director of Senior Helpers.  He has worked extensively in the Probate Courts and with Probate Court Judges and staff in South Carolina.  Seth currently serves on the Boards of Directors for the SC Alzheimer's Association, the Parkinson Association of the Carolina's, the SC Home Care and Hospice Association, and the SC Commerce Department's Catawba Regional Education Center.

Zamek is personally involved in every client case Care Partners LLC agrees to take on.  The organization serves vulnerable or incapacitated individuals of all ages and prides itself on being very responsive to the Courts, Attorneys, families petitioning the Court and clients.

The South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (DDSN) is the state agency that plans, develops, coordinates and funds services for residents with various severe, lifelong disabilities. Populations served include individuals with traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disabilities.
