Memory Fit provides Memory Training as a prevention for the development of dementia.  Our Memory Training courses are 4 weeks each month for a total of 12 weeks.  Memory Foundation is week one in which participants learn about the brain.  Memory Everyday starts week two through week 10 in which participants learn the types of memory we use daily, strategies to navigate real life everyday memory issues, the Big 4 Factors for the prevention of dementia, and food that support brain and heart health.  Participants are encouraged to attend and participate all 12 weeks to receive the fullest benefit from our Memory Training courses.  All participants receive a complimentary memory assessment.  Please visit our website at memoryfit1.com to learn more.  You may also contact a Certified Memory Trainer at 803-205-4006 for additional information or questions.  This program is ideal for individuals with normal age-related memory complaints.  Our courses is not for people diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer's Disease. The mission for the Senior Centers of Cherokee County is to be the focal point for providing all senior adults with information and services designed to assist them in leading independent, meaningful, and dignified lives in their own homes and communities as long as possible. In 1972, The Senior Center began as a pilot project under the “Family Counseling” umbrella of Spartanburg, SC. In 1975, Cherokee County
Services to the aging was chartered as a 501C3. Senior Centers of Cherokee County is the local area on aging.

Aiken Senior Life Services, in partnership with Meals on Wheels America, provides a hot, nutritious meal to any senior who is unable to leave their home or who has difficulty preparing a meal. These meals are delivered by volunteers that provide important social interaction to homebound seniors. These visits, which serve as important “wellness checks,” often turn into lasting friendships. 

The Breathe Easier Club is a monthly group for patients diagnosed with lung cancer, long-term survivors, and family members or friends. Join us for a delicious free lunch or dinner for conversation and information.

We provide Aging Life Care Management services. We assess our clients’ needs, educate them and their caregivers as to the best ways to meet these needs, connect them to resources, and provide on-going advocacy and Care Management services if requested. 

HopeHealth Manning is a community-based family practice located in Manning, SC that provides excellent primary care, support care, and specialty care.  Services include primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, rheumatology, endocrinology, after-hours care/Access Hope, as well as HIV and Hepatitis C screenings, prevention, and education. HopeHealth’s integrated health care model provides for the incorporation of behavioral health and counseling services.
