BeWell Home Services is the home care ministry of the Lutheran Homes of South Carolina (LHSC) offering non-medical care for clients to promote independence among older adults living at home or wherever they deem to be home.

We offer our clients with many non-medical, home-based services that range from light housework to assistance with daily living and everything in between.

Greater Greenwood United Ministry, established in 1995, is a 501c3 non-profit organization that assists individuals in the community with spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. With the help of a partnership with Christian churches, business, and industries, the Ministry helps individuals move beyond their life or medical crisis to make better life choices that will help them sustain themselves and their families.

We offer a free medical clinic for people without insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. We also offer a monthly mobile Free Medical Clinic for the Saluda area. 

The Area Agency on Aging identifies the needs of seniors and disabled persons and existing services available. The Area Agency on Aging prepares a plan to meet these needs of the senior population. Whereas the ADRC will link the disabled person to the local resources available. The AAA and ADRC staff work with federal, state, and local officials, service providers, volunteers, and the private sector to encourage new services. Lowcountry AAA/ ADRC staff members are dedicated to improving the lives of the senior and disabled populations. Our staff is available to speak to community groups about the programs available.

Margaret Kunes, MHA, CMC is an Aging Life Care Manager who operates a small practice offering highly personalized decision support for individuals and families faced with managing chronic illness, particularly cognitive impairment, or more general matters related to aging and planning for the future.

ALCC also offers assistance with exploring retirement community options, medication management, home care management, coordinating and attending medical and other business appointments.

Omega Healthcare Services is a Non Medical home care agency licensed by the Sate of South Carolina. We specialize in taking care of all age groups in the comfort of theirs homes; these groups include the  elderly, both young and old adult,and  children with special needs. HopeHealth in Aiken is 1 of 3 Infectious Disease Treatment and Prevention Centers, and is committed to providing infectious disease services to Aiken, Allendale, and Barnwell Counties. The site opened its doors in 2005, providing case management services to individuals living with HIV. The site has since expanded its services to include community education, STI prevention, and Personal Health Clinic. Personal Health Clinic appointments are available to accommodate walk-in STI screenings, Hepatitis C care, PrEP, PEP, and traditional women’s health services such as PAP smears.

Clinical Services

Clinical services consist of medical care and treatment related specifically to a patient’s diagnosis. The clinical staff team includes a medical office assistant, a nurse and a provider. The team meets with patients at least quarterly to assign and review patients’ medications, labs and coordinate any referrals for specialty care services.

Client Services

HopeHealth offers a range of supportive services for its infectious diseases patients in coordination with their medical treatment, including medical case management. HopeHealth employs a team of medical case managers to serve as coordinators who work directly with the clinical team to manage patients’ medical needs, medication regimens, referrals, and other social services.
