The mission for the Senior Centers of Cherokee County is to be the focal point for providing all senior adults with information and services designed to assist them in leading independent, meaningful, and dignified lives in their own homes and communities as long as possible. In 1972, The Senior Center began as a pilot project under the “Family Counseling” umbrella of Spartanburg, SC. In 1975, Cherokee County
Services to the aging was chartered as a 501C3. Senior Centers of Cherokee County is the local area on aging. Volunteer opportunities available. 

Senior Resources is a non-profit organization that coordinates services, provides resources and encourages the personal choices that allow Midland's area senior citizens to remain independent. Services include meal opportunities (home-delivered meals and group dining meals) and wellness centers (senior centers). Volunteer opportunities are available each weekday for Meals on Wheels.  Low and no-cost services are available. 

For more than 50 years, SENIOR Solutions has proudly served Upstate seniors and their families. We offer Senior Centers, Adult Day Care, Transportation, Assisted Living, Insurance Services, and Group Dining. Our mission every day is to enable seniors to live independently and get the essential care they need within the Upstate community. 

Senior Action is a nonprofit organization serving adults aged 55 and older in Greenville County. We offer a wide range of programs and services, including meals, exercise classes, social activities, and more at our six locations. We also provide home-based services such as transportation to our centers, medical transportation, and yard care assistance. Volunteer opportunities available. 

Sumter Senior Services is a non-profit organization designated as the focal point for aging services in Sumter County for programs, services, information and advocacy for older adults. The mission is to provide opportunities for physical, mental, and emotional wellness which support independence and enrich the quality of life for older adults. 

Services include meal opportunities (home-delivered meals and group dining meals) and senior centers.  Low and no-cost services are available.  Volunteer opportunities (AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP) are available each weekday.   

We offer a wide variety of activities to enhance the quality of life for our participants and their families. We serve both the senior population and young adults with developmental disabilities, individualizing programs to assist them to continue to grow, learn and contribute to the society. A hot lunch is served daily. 

We also offer free trial day passes at our day centers for those who would like to try it out, and accept many payer sources, such as Medicaid and VA. 

Calhoun County Council on Aging (CCCOA) is a county department that provides programs and services to promote the well-being of aging persons residing in Calhoun County, SC. Our purpose is to help persons over the age of 60 in Calhoun County maintain their independence, function to the best of their ability, and to inform of resources, activities and opportunities available in the community.

Services include meal opportunities (home-delivered meals and group dining meals) and wellness centers (senior centers). Volunteer opportunities are available each weekday for home delivered meals.  Low and no-cost services are available.

Antioch Senior Center is geared to providing Senior Citizens of the community and Richland County to enjoy an environment of learning, developing, adjusting, interacting with each other and meeting friends.

We provide services to seniors in Horry County.

Piedmont Agency on Aging provides free home-delivered meals to seniors 60 and older in Greenwood, Abbeville, Laurens and Saluda Counties. Other services provided are senior center meals and transportation to the centers and medical appointments. Low and no cost services are available.

Senior Matters is a provider of licensed non-medical caregiver services. Locally owned in Columbia, SC since 1997, Senior Matters provides non-medical caregiver services throughout South Carolina.  Senior Matters is proud to serve veterans through the VA Community Care Network.

Non-medical home care services that provides an array of one-on-one services for our senior clients in their homes or within a Senior Community.

By providing meals, transportation, and social interaction to older adults, Aiken Senior Life Services – a private, charitable nonprofit organization established in 1971 – allows Aiken County seniors to gracefully age in place. 

Aiken Senior Life Services, in partnership with Meals on Wheels America, provides a hot, nutritious meal to any senior who is unable to leave their home or who has difficulty preparing a meal. These meals are delivered by volunteers that provide important social interaction to homebound seniors. These visits, which serve as important “wellness checks,” often turn into lasting friendships. Low-cost and no-cost services are available. 

At Amada Senior Care Charleston, SC we provide the finest senior care services to seniors in neighborhoods throughout Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties. 

Amada caregivers are compassionate individuals trained to provide personal assistance to seniors and other individuals in need. We also offer care for COPD, CHF, and Stroke Recovery. We are experts in long term care insurance advocacy and in helping veterans access home health aide services through the VA. 

Senior Care Authority provides NO COST placement services for independent living, assisted living, and memory care as well as skilled nursing placement and eldercare consulting. 

We offer NO COST placement services which include Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Alzheimer's/Dementia placement services. Our Certified Senior Advisor® will guide you through finding the best senior living options based on your loved one's individual needs and budget, and we will accompany you on tours of the selected communities.

Additionally, we offer fee based eldercare consulting services. Eldercare consulting can includes facilitating essential conversations with family members to identify necessary resources. There is no cost for an initial consultation. 

We also offer "Beyond Driving With Dignity", an enhanced self assessment to help older adults determine when it is time to retire from driving.

Elite Home Care and Day Centers offer professional, DHEC certified care throughout South Carolina. 

Whether it is Medicaid, VA medical benefit, private pay, waiver or a voucher, we are often able to provide the care you require for little or no money out of pocket.

 Carlyle Senior Care of Aiken is a nursing home that provides patients with skilled nursing care as well as private or shared accommodations.

Senior Express Transportation Services provides a personal driving service for any age (although our focus is older adults) on a regular or on an as-needed basis such as; medical / dental appointments, out-patient surgeries, dialysis treatments, grocery / shopping trips, errands, church functions, airport drop-off / pick-ups and any transportation needs. Senior Express has been providing transportation services throughout the midlands area for over ten years.

Senior Living Advisors is a FREE service to help families choose an appropriate Independent Living Apartment with Support Services, Assisted Living Facility or Secure Dementia unit for their loved one. While matching their medical needs, budget, and geographic preferences.

Your Professional Senior Living Advisor can assess the candidate in their home or at a medical facility such as hospital or skilled rehabilitation unit.  The Advisor will meet with the family to obtain all of the necessary information, and determine the scope of care required. Recommendations of communities are offered, and your Professional Advisor will accompany you on tours to provide expert guidance every step of the way.

Most importantly, your Professional Advisor understands how difficult it is to make these decisions, and is there to offer expert guidance and support to help families make this life-changing transition.

Love House Academy's Senior Day Program is designed for retired adults over the age of 60 who are looking for a place to remain healthy in Mind, Body, and Soul.  It is for Lowcountry seniors who seek a reputable local organization to help them enjoy life to its fullest.  Our Senior Day Program is also ideal for seniors who may otherwise be isolated in their home environment.

Love House Academy's Senior Day Program is free and open to the public.  Currently we are only delivering frozen meals to senior's residence for those who qualify.  If you are in need of free meals to be delivered to your residence due to medical, health, or inabilities, please contact us for support.

Edgefield County Senior Citizens Council, Inc., is a private non-profit, non-governmental organization 501© that has been providing services for Edgefield County citizens over the age of 60 since 1972. 

We provide meals, transportation, and a meal site. We are here to promote well  being and to enhance the quality of life for older adults in Edgefield, Johnston, Trenton, and parts of North Augusta.
