    The Columbia Rehabilitation Clinic, Inc. is a comprehensive outpatient rehabilitative facility dedicated to the treatment of patients in need of physical restoration. Established in 1977, our clinic was the first private outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation facility in Columbia, South Carolina.

    Our rehabilitation clinics provide physical rehabilitation and therapy services for disorders that are orthopedic, neurological, arthritic, pulmonary, cardiovascular, and sports related. All our rehabilitation services are provided on a one on one, individual basis, not group sessions, and we treat adults as well as adolescents (age 6 and up for orthopedic problems).

    The primary goal of our clinics is to provide the patient, through physical therapy, an opportunity to achieve his or her maximum level of independence. Patients can be treated at the clinic on a referral from a physician, dentist, or podiatrist. A patient can also be seen for 30 days without a physician’s referral.

    Dementia Dialogues® is a nationally registered and evidence-informed, intervention program. This 5-module training course is designed to educate community members and caregivers (formal or informal) for persons who exhibit signs and symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD). The modules cover valuable information and recommendations including an overview of dementia, strategies for effective communication, understanding the environment and ways to promote independence, addressing challenging behaviors, and creative problem solving. Dementia Dialogues® is offered nationwide by Certified Instructors in-person and virtually, and as a virtual self-guided training at no cost to participants. Dementia Dialogues® is provided through Office of the Study of Aging at the Arnold School of Public Health, University of South Carolina.

    The Department of Social Services provides protective services for children and vulnerable adults, adoption, and foster care services. It administers federal Title IV-B Child Welfare Services and Title IV-E Foster Care and Adoption Assistance programs.

    Our NeighborShare program is a community initiative that aims to ensure access to fresh, affordable food. The program serves individuals who need assistance ordering their Fresh Food Boxes or having boxes delivered to them by volunteers.
