The overall mission of the Lancaster County Council on Aging is to provide a system of coordinated and comprehensive services to enable older persons in Lancaster County to continue to maintain their independence.

Newberry County Council on Aging provides services to assist Newberry County Older Adults as they age-in-place. This is done through the provision of program services, facilities, and education. Some programs and services may depend on available funds, an individual's severity of need, and the geographic location of the individual.

The Lower Savannah Council of Governments  helps develop, write and administer grants; provides research and data for planning and decision-making; offers access to the Aging, Disability & Transportation Resource Center and coordinates the region’s workforce development programs.
