Many seniors consider their companion animals their family. They may not be able to afford to vaccinate or obtain basic annual care that is necessary in South Carolina's tropic‐like weather. Ideally, regular vaccinations and check‐ups will be offered through the program. Furthermore, transportation  throughout the state is a barrier, as most of the state is rural and many senior citizens needing  veterinarian services are homebound and unable to drive.  Through the generosity of South Carolina veterinarians, SCVets Care has stepped up to provide vaccinations, spay and neuter services,  diagnostic services and much more to senior citizen pets. We are unable to supply food. We do require an estimate of services needed which can be emailed to us at info@scav.org. If you are a senior citizen, disabled, or a caregiver of a senior or disabled adult, and their pet is in need of veterinary care, please reach out to us to help with your pets health needs.
