    Touch the FutureInc. is a 501(c) 3, nonprofit organization providing individuals who are disabled, seniors, disabled Veterans, or from disadvantaged communities with computer, durable medical equipment, and assistive technology services and devices. Touch the Future supports other nonprofit organizations and educational programs and provides communities, entrepreneurs, and businesses opportunities for accessible and inclusive communication, conferences, events and services.     Overview

    The Area Agency on Aging identifies the needs of seniors and disabled persons and existing services available. The Area Agency on Aging prepares a plan to meet these needs of the senior population. Whereas the ADRC will link the disabled person to the local resources available. The AAA and ADRC staff work with federal, state, and local officials, service providers, volunteers, and the private sector to encourage new services. Lowcountry AAA/ ADRC staff members are dedicated to improving the lives of the senior and disabled populations. Our staff is available to speak to community groups about the programs available.

    Overview

    HopeHealth provides integrated health services for more than 37,000 patients in areas surrounding Aiken, Clarendon, Florence, Orangeburg, and Williamsburg counties. It was founded in 1991 as a grassroots HIV/AIDS support organization, and was designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center in 2007 to expand its services to include primary and pediatric care. As an organization, HopeHealth is now a collection of 12 locations (10 community health centers and two infectious diseases treatment and prevention centers) and nearly 60 providers covering primary care, dental care, chiropractic care, behavior health and psychiatry, massage therapy, pain management, substance abuse, and women’s health services.
