This program explores how hospice services can better support people living with dementia and caregivers across the full course of dementia, rather than only at the very end of life. The presentation introduces flexible, earlier interventions focused on quality of life, emotional support, and caregiver education. It emphasizes a family-centered approach, recognizing the prolonged and unpredictable nature of dementia. Attendees will gain practical insights into improving comfort care, communication, and decision-making throughout the journey.
