DayBreak Adult Care Services provides in-home, personal care service to Richland and Lexington counties. Our services include bathing, dressing, companionship, household chores, meal preparation, errands, and medication reminders. Our services are tailored to each person's needs and a free in-home consultation is provided. Sitting services are also available for patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and other types of facilities. If you don't see what you are needing, call us. Love House Academy's Senior Day Program is designed for retired adults over the age of 60 who are looking for a place to remain healthy in Mind, Body, and Soul.  It is for Lowcountry seniors who seek a reputable local organization to help them enjoy life to its fullest.  Our Senior Day Program is also ideal for seniors who may otherwise be isolated in their home environment.

Love House Academy's Senior Day Program is free and open to the public.  Currently we are only delivering frozen meals to senior's residence for those who qualify.  If you are in need of free meals to be delivered to your residence due to medical, health, or inabilities, please contact us for support.

Griswold Home Care is a community-based service that provides an affordable solution for individuals or couples who require non-medical assistance in order to remain safely in their homes. The service includes personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, along with transportation and errands if needed. Our services can be arranged for as few as 2 hours a week, or as many as 24 hours a day. Care is available seven days a week, including holidays.

Our rates in the Charleston area:

• Hourly 4+ $15.00/hour
• Live in care $145.00 per day
• Hourly Less than 4 $18.25/hour

With special attention toward matching the caregivers with our clients, we are able to achieve absolute compatibility. Rest assured, we will do everything in our power to help enrich your loved one’s quality of life.

Based on the PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) model of care, our program offers frail seniors services and support needed to remain at home and in their own communities.

Respite Care Charleston is a nonprofit organization providing support and services for families affected by Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia.  Services include half-day memory care (respite), caregiver support groups, one-on-one caregiver consultations, education and referrals, and programs for those with mild cognitive impairment or early-stage dementia.  

Many RCC services are offered at no cost, and scholarships are available to ensure no family is denied support due to financial constraints.

To ensure accessibility, services are offered at several locations in Mt. Pleasant, West Ashley, North Charleston, James Island and Johns Island.
