through MAT Transit, we offer low-cost transportation options for seniors who need to attend medical appointments, perform essential shopping and banking and other daily activities. We also conduct monthly group trips/outings for seniors.

We welcome our 60-plus citizens to join us for coffee, conversation and daily activities such as checkers, puzzles and even group exercise sessions that range from beginner level to most experienced.

Group Dining Opportunities that includes themed parties every month. Patrons must pre-qualify by calling Upper Savannah Council of Governments at 864-941-8069, AND then make lunch reservations by 2:00 pm on the day before their desired dining.

We are affiliated with Meals on Wheels and offer healthful meals to those who are homebound. Patrons must pre-qualify by calling the Upper Savannah Council of Governments at 864-941-8069.

Description of Organization
the McCormick County Senior Center offers a vibrant and inclusive community space for citizens age 60-plus. Our center provides a wide range of engaging activities and events tailored to the interests and needs of our senior community. Our daily program for seniors includes morning coffee and conversation, organized activities and dining in our cafe.
