The Catawba Area Agency on Aging presents the Dementia Care Education Series for Caregivers. Register now! There is limited space available. Light refreshments and finger foods will be provided.

This is an in-person meeting that takes place Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 10-11:30 a.m. on the topic of Caregiver burnout and stress. The event is located at the Catawba Area Agency on Aging, located at 2025 Ebenezer Rd. Suite H Rock Hill, SC 29732.

This series will run every third Wednesday of every other month, featuring a new topic each time. 

In this series caregivers will learn: 

  • How to introduce effective ways to reduce stress and balance the caregiver role. 
  • Practical ways to safeguard a caregivers mental and physical health.

Melissa Dalton, a Dementia Care Specialist with the South Carolina Department on Aging will be the featured educator and Tonya Schraw, ASN- Hospice Liaison from Agape Care South Carolina, will be a guest speaker.
