Feonix Access to Care

Feonix Access to Care helps seniors and people with disabilities in Richland and Lexington counties with no-cost, door-to-door transportation to nonemergency medical appointments so they avoid the catastrophic cost of a trip to a hospital emergency department.  Feonix Access to Care combines public transit, a nonprofit transportation provider, and the medical, nonprofit, and social services community with federal grants and local matching funds to provide services that focus on individuals not served by multi-load vehicles or costly medical transport services. Medical providers and social service agencies refer patients and book rides utilizing an online booking portal.
