    Caregiver Support

    The ARK of SC has a Social Respite Program that includes social and reminiscing activities, cognitive activities such as trivia, dominoes, puzzles as well as dancing, singing, music and/or exercise. The ARK of SC currently facilitates four support groups for caregivers; one in Berkeley County and three in Dorchester County. The ARK of SC provides Powerful Tools for Caregivers Class (PTC) that teaches the caregiver how to care for themselves when caring for a loved one with a chronic illness. The ARK of SC provides caregiver consultations, resource referrals and community development through our Neighborhood Outreach Alzheimer's Help (NOAH) Project.
