Meal Delivery
Meals on Wheels - Each day we deliver over 700 meals. Our service area covers from the Ashley River to the Edisto River. The agency serves all areas, but seeks out the rural island areas - Ravenel, Hollywood, Johns Island and Wadmalaw for clients who desperately need food delivered to them.

Senior Center
At the downtown center low income and homeless senior clients receive breakfast, a hot lunch each weekday and activities to help keep their minds sharp. Average attendance is 35 per day.

Emergency Food Programs - our agency operates an emergency food pantry in collaboration with the Low Country Food Bank that serves clients of any age. The pantry serves over 100 families each month.

Ansonborough House - low income subsidized housing for seniors over 62. This building prioritizes homeless individuals and over the last 5 years, 70 homeless seniors have found a permanent home.

Description of Organization
Charleston Area Senior Citizens Services Inc. (CASC) has been operating on the front lines fighting hunger in the lives of low income senior citizens since 1967. Their dedicated team provides hot, healthy meals to those who need it most, ensuring seniors remain nourished, independent, and connected to their community. The senior center has hosted varied activities and programs for senior citizens in the greater Charleston community. CASC also offers a variety of volunteer roles that help assist the lives of seniors such as companionship, transportation, and help with activities of daily living.
