We are a Non-Profit 501 3c Organization.  Our main service to seniors in SC is serving meals. We deliver hot and/or frozen meals to many areas in the county. We also serve meals on-site at two locations: the town of Bishopville and the SpringHill community. 
In addition to serving meals, we provide education, social, and recreational activities at our on-site locations. Low-cost and no-cost services available.

We gladly accept private pay clients. Our vehicles are ADA compliant and prices are more affordable than other local transport companies that provide similar services. We specialize in transporting individuals that are confined to the use of wheelchairs. Our drivers are fully screened, background checked and thoroughly trained.

Serving the Greater Charleston area, Let's Walk is a free service founded by a Physical Therapist to connect people, who need a companion to walk outside, with volunteers who can help. 

Lexington County Recreation & Aging Commission's Aging Program is a special purpose district whose mission is to improve the quality of life of older adults throughout Lexington County through creative, meaningful, life enriching experiences. This is done through the provision of program services, facilities, and education. Some programs and services may depend on available funds, an individual's severity of need, and the geographic location of the individual. Low and no-cost services are available.

Love 2 HomeCare is a homecare agency serving Lakeview, South Carolina and surrounding areas. Homecare agencies provide non-medical personal care services that allow individuals to remain safely in their homes while receiving assistance with daily activities. 

Love House Academy's Senior Day Program is designed for retired adults over the age of 60 who are looking for a place to remain healthy in Mind, Body, and Soul.  It is for Lowcountry seniors who seek a reputable local organization to help them enjoy life to its fullest.  Our Senior Day Program is also ideal for seniors who may otherwise be isolated in their home environment.

Love House Academy's Senior Day Program is free and open to the public.  Currently we are only delivering frozen meals to senior's residence for those who qualify.  If you are in need of free meals to be delivered to your residence due to medical, health, or inabilities, please contact us for support.

LCFS provides Home Care service to the Low Country of South Carolina, offering a solution for individuals who want to maintain their independence at home but need assistance due to short- or long-term disability, illness or simply the natural aging process.

The Area Agency on Aging identifies the needs of seniors and disabled persons and existing services available. The Area Agency on Aging prepares a plan to meet these needs of the senior population. Whereas the ADRC will link the disabled person to the local resources available. The AAA and ADRC staff work with federal, state, and local officials, service providers, volunteers, and the private sector to encourage new services. Lowcountry AAA/ ADRC staff members are dedicated to improving the lives of the senior and disabled populations. Our staff is available to speak to community groups about the programs available.

Lowcountry Food Bank serves more than 200,000 people who experience food insecurity every year through our solid relationships with 240+ partner agencies -- a network of food pantries, on-site meal programs, school programs, senior programs, veterans' groups, and shelters. We provide our partners with fresh fruits and vegetables, shelf-stable food, equipment, nutrition materials, and food safety training. 

Volunteer opportunities are also available for a wide range of activities. 

Lowcountry Senior Center offers over 280 classes a month including fitness, wellness, creative arts, languages, dance, music, games and more. Everything at the senior center is dedicated to increasing opportunities to socialize and meet others. The senior center also offers volunteer opportunities and different ways to engage in activities outside the senior center such as golf, dining, kayaking, theatre, and other activities. 

Our mobile farmers market sources from hundreds of farmers and operates on a biweekly schedule and has stops throughout the Charleston area. The market offers a sliding scale pricing system and anyone paying with SNAP/EBT gets $15 free produce with a $5 purchase. 

GroceryRx is a free 12-week long nutrition and cooking program with topics that vary each week. Eligibility criteria for a class is a positive screen for food insecurity and diagnosis of chronic, diet-related illness. While in class, participants receive fresh grocery deliveries to their home or via our mobile market. A physicians referral and recent lab work is required for participation. 

We are a comprehensive resource for those in Aiken, Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Calhoun and Orangeburg counties. The Lower Savannah Council of Governments  helps develop, write and administer grants; provides research and data for planning and decision-making; offers access to the Aging, Disability & Transportation Resource Center and coordinates the region’s workforce development programs.

Lutheran Hospice is a non-profit, faith-based ministry that provides compassionate end-of-life care for patients and families of all faiths and beliefs

Lyons Prosthetics & Orthotics works to provide prosthesis and advanced orthotic braces, artificial limbs, O&P Care for amputations, orthopedic injury, and disabilities. We pride ourselves in our ability to actively listen to each person's unique needs and apply custom cutting edge prosthetic technology to meet those needs. Our facility is also wheelchair accessible.
