Event Details
The South Carolina Department on Aging is having a Senior Planning and Resources for Emergency Preparedness (P.R.E.P.) event on Thursday, September 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Edward Kyzer Firehouse Conference Center, located at 1227 McKibben St, Newberry, SC 29108.
We encourage older adults, those 18 and older with a disability, and community members to participate in the event to collect materials and speak with local, county, and state officials about emergency preparedness.
The event focuses on bringing emergency information, materials, and subject matter experts to one location. There is no cost to attend.
