Event Details
GRACE is a 30-minute supportive worship service for individuals experiencing memory loss or cognitive change, together with a family member or caregiver. The service includes familiar hymns, Scripture, a short homily, the Lord’s Supper, the Lord’s Prayer, and a blessing. It is designed to be calm, predictable, and easy to follow, with freedom to participate in whatever way feels comfortable.
GRACE offers a welcoming setting in which individuals living with memory or cognitive changes can continue to worship with dignity, comfort, and belonging. Family members and caregivers worship alongside them in an atmosphere of patience, understanding, and support.
Please attend with a companion
Because GRACE is a worship service for shared support and participation, each person experiencing memory or cognitive changes should come with someone who will remain with them throughout the service. This may be a family member, friend, or caregiver.
There is no need to worry about sitting still, remembering every word, or doing everything “the right way.” Come as you are. You and those who accompany you will be received with kindness and care.
