Palliative Care of South Carolina was created to provide specialized medical care for people with serious illness. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for both the patient and the family. We focus on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of advance illness by providing a team of specialists that work alongside the patient’s physicians.

With palliative care, patients will receive physical, emotional and spiritual support. The team helps to relieve pain and symptoms- such as fatigue, anxiety, shortness of breath, nausea, and depression. They also will help the patient decide the next steps; the plan and goals of care. Palliative Care of South Carolina is here to help at any stage of serious illness, regardless of age or diagnosis.

We offer free yearly hearing evaluations. Lifetime care for as long as you own your Beltone hearing aids which includes follow up care, hearing inspections, cleaning, and some parts, free of charge. Because we are known nationwide, any Beltone clinic will help with any Beltone patient.

Upper Savannah Area Agency on Aging (AAA) provides and finds services designed to assist seniors in leading independent, meaningful and dignified lives in their own homes and communities as long as possible.

We are the only full placement service that can assist with Medicaid placements for assisted living and skilled care!

Full Service Placement Assistance - Whether you are thinking about assisted living, dementia care, independent senior living or skilled nursing, we can help you identify the right level of care and find the best community that fits the needs of your loved one.  This is a no cost service to you.  It's about what matters most to you and your family, current and future care, personal preferences, location and budget.  We arrange the visits at your chosen communities, personally accompany you on tours, and coach you to ask the right questions.  We track the communities compliance with state regulations.  You don't have to do this alone!

Calhoun County Council on Aging (CCCOA) is a county department that provides programs and services to promote the well-being of aging persons residing in Calhoun County, SC. Our purpose is to help persons over the age of 60 in Calhoun County maintain their independence, function to the best of their ability, and to inform of resources, activities and opportunities available in the community.

Services include meal opportunities (home-delivered meals and group dining meals) and wellness centers (senior centers). Volunteer opportunities are available each weekday for home delivered meals.  Low and no-cost services are available.
