BeWell Home Services is the home care ministry of the Lutheran Homes of South Carolina (LHSC) offering non-medical care for clients to promote independence among older adults living at home or wherever they deem to be home.

We offer our clients with many non-medical, home-based services that range from light housework to assistance with daily living and everything in between.

Caring Healthcare provides in home personal care services to elderly, disabled, and special needs children. We offer assistance with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, supervision, transportation of adults, errands, assistance with ambulation & transfers.  In addition to in home care we also provide private sitting for clients during hospitalizations, while staying in a rehab facility after hospitalization, and for added supervision and assistance while staying in an assisted living facility.  We are available to provide services from 2 to 24 hours daily as needed.

Palmetto Medicaid Eligibility Consulting, LLC, (PalmettoMEC) specializes in helping South Carolina residents qualify for nursing home and in-home care Medicaid. As experienced consultants and planners, we partner with the applicant or a representative in the application process to obtain all documents needed to complete the nursing home application and meet Medicaid program requirements; we then organize the application and promptly submit it to the Medicaid agency, the SC Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) for review and approval. Margaret Kunes, MHA, CMC is an Aging Life Care Manager who operates a small practice offering highly personalized decision support for individuals and families faced with managing chronic illness, particularly cognitive impairment, or more general matters related to aging and planning for the future.

Young At Heart Home Care Services Takes the time to understand your needs and develops a personalized plan to help keep you or love one living independently at home.

 Our residents have access to a choice of home health agencies that provide regular personal care assessments. Staff members who are on call 24 hours a day work with residents to tailor plans for all levels of care needed, with services including medication reminders and administration, incontinence care, special nutritional counseling and escort and transfer assistance available if and when needed. Residents also can obtain bathing, dressing and grooming assistance and medication administration as necessary.

Physical, occupational and speech therapies are available on site as conveniences to our residents, who also have access to psychotherapy services. Wellness, walking, balance and exercise classes also are offered on a regular basis.

Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont is your community non-profit network of care that provides expert life-changing health care for those living with advanced illnesses. Has been a non-profit, community based hospice since 1981. Employs more than 68 trained staff including 4 Nurse Practitioners, 15 licensed nurses, 4 certified Hospice and Palliative Care nurses, 3 licensed social workers, 3 physicians, and 1 certified Hospice & Palliative Care Administrator.
