Always Best Care combines national strength and standards with local accessibility and personal service. Nate and Melisa Rhodes, Owners of Always Best Care of the Grand Strand, has operated Always Best Care in the Grand Strand since 2017. Always Best Care is A+ rated with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).  The agency specializes in in-home care for seniors, but it also helps find senior living at no cost to those seeking a place to live.  And to help seniors remain safe and comfortable in their homes, the company offers no-cost Remote Patient Monitoring equipment that has been proven to prevent hospital ER visits by 75%.

Trident Area Agency on Aging (AAA) empower seniors, adults with disabilities and caregivers to make informed decisions about their long-term care and to coordinate innovative, cost-effective and quality home and community-based services for those with the greatest needs.

We provide non-medical home care for seniors, people with disabilities, those recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, mothers just home from the hospital, veterans, and anyone who needs a little extra help. We offer companion care and personal care services.

Through the generosity of South Carolina veterinarians, SCVets Care has stepped up to provide vaccinations, spay and neuter services,  diagnostic services and much more to senior citizen pets. We are unable to supply food. We do require an estimate of services needed which can be emailed to us at info@scav.org. If you are a senior citizen, disabled, or a caregiver of a senior or disabled adult, and their pet is in need of veterinary care, please reach out to us to help with your pets health needs. 

FoodShare South Carolina's mission is to increase access to, knowledge of and consumption of vegetables and fruit through community-led projects. 

Our Fresh Food Box is available at a cost which allows anyone to buy a box. Each box contains fresh produce and unique recipes, tips and nutrition notes. Fresh Food Boxes are filled with 9 to 11 varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables. With the contents changing weekly, it’s an affordable and exciting way to eat healthy food. Bulk buying at wholesale prices makes our boxes more affordable than buying produce at retail stores.
