A nonprofit organization made up of local Christian Churches united to provide short-term emergency assistance to those in need in the name of Christ.

Greater Greenwood United Ministry, established in 1995, is a 501c3 non-profit organization that assists individuals in the community with spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. With the help of a partnership with Christian churches, business, and industries, the Ministry helps individuals move beyond their life or medical crisis to make better life choices that will help them sustain themselves and their families.

We offer a free medical clinic for people without insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. We also offer a monthly mobile Free Medical Clinic for the Saluda area. 

ACTS- partner with churches, organizations, and individuals to provide assistance to our neighbors in need.

Assistance Agency for Low Income

Caring Healthcare provides in home personal care services to elderly, disabled, and special needs children. We offer assistance with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, supervision, transportation of adults, errands, assistance with ambulation & transfers.  In addition to in home care we also provide private sitting for clients during hospitalizations, while staying in a rehab facility after hospitalization, and for added supervision and assistance while staying in an assisted living facility.  We are available to provide services from 2 to 24 hours daily as needed.

The Department of Social Services provides protective services for children and vulnerable adults, adoption, and foster care services. It administers federal Title IV-B Child Welfare Services and Title IV-E Foster Care and Adoption Assistance programs. 

Additionally, a commodities program distributes supplemental food through a network of food banks. Other food programs provide financial assistance for child and adult care providers, homeless shelters, and summer feeding sites for children.

I am a Senior Care Advisor - helping families navigate aging resources. I provide in-home assessments, therapeutic recreation program and activities, assistance with bringing resources into the home of a senior, allowing them to maintain as much independence as possible. I also provide assistance with researching available funding, long term care placement options and referrals to local geriatric practitioners.

Personal Care Assistance is provided to the elderly, disabled Head and Spinal Cord injury clients and children with disabilities. We accept clients who are under the waiver programs within the State of South Carolina and also work with DDSN, Medicaid, Private Insurance and self pay clients. 

Griswold Home Care is a community-based service in Myrtle Beach that provides an affordable solution for individuals or couples who require non-medical assistance in order to remain safely in their homes. The service includes personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, along with transportation and errands if needed. Our services can be arranged for as few as 2 hours a week, or as many as 24 hours a day. Care is available seven days a week, including holidays.

Karing In Mind LLC is a licensed provider in the State of SC that provides in-home care and assistance with activities of daily living. Transportation is not provided with these services. Aides cannot accompany you to your appointments or daily errands.
