The overall mission of the Orangeburg County Council on Aging is to provide a system of coordinated and comprehensive services to enable older persons in Orangeburg County to continue to maintain their independence. 

Our Mother's Voice provides information to empower individuals and families to advocate for appropriate and high-quality care and services when they need long-term care for themselves or loved ones.  We focus primarily on Quality of Life, Quality of Care, Resident Rights, and how to advocate within the service delivery system and the regulatory system.  We provide online information and in-person presentations for a wide variety of audiences.

Our Helping Hands is a patient advocacy organization that services seniors of Charleston South Carolina. We are dedicated to assisting you in becoming an active participant in your own health care and empower you to ask the right questions of your providers.

Advocates translate medical terminology so that you can better understand your physician's explanations and instructions so you are more likely to have positive health outcomes.

Palliative Care of South Carolina was created to provide specialized medical care for people with serious illness. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for both the patient and the family. We focus on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of advance illness by providing a team of specialists that work alongside the patient’s physicians.

With palliative care, patients will receive physical, emotional and spiritual support. The team helps to relieve pain and symptoms- such as fatigue, anxiety, shortness of breath, nausea, and depression. They also will help the patient decide the next steps; the plan and goals of care. Palliative Care of South Carolina is here to help at any stage of serious illness, regardless of age or diagnosis.

Palmetto Family Homecare is faith-based independent provider servicing the state of South Carolina.  Palmetto Family Homecare is a licensed DHEC provider, providing non-medical care in the homes of clients and within facilities.  We have a family oriented approach to our care, while specializing in Neurological Disorder Care (ALS, MS, and Parkinson).  We provide an array of services to the elderly, disabled adults, veterans, rehab recovery clients, or just anyone in the need of an extra pair of hands.   We strive to provide our families with an experience that exemplifies the 4 Keys to our family, which is Compassion, Education, Reliability and Building Relationships.

Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health is a private hospital located on the beautiful Ashley River just outside of Charleston, South Carolina. We specialize in helping people effectively manage and cope with mental health and substance abuse issues. Palmetto Medicaid Eligibility Consulting, LLC, (PalmettoMEC) specializes in helping South Carolina residents qualify for nursing home and in-home care Medicaid. As experienced consultants and planners, we partner with the applicant or a representative in the application process to obtain all documents needed to complete the nursing home application and meet Medicaid program requirements; we then organize the application and promptly submit it to the Medicaid agency, the SC Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) for review and approval. PalmettoMEC's consultants have more than 30 years of Medicaid eligibility, policy, and case–management experience administering long-term care programs.

Since 2019, Palmetto Oaks Day Health Center has been taking care of senior citizens and young adults with disabilities, filling the gaps for caretakers in the Columbia, SC area.

Pathway Health and Wellness is a dedicated home health service company providing non-medical care to clients in Columbia South Carolina. 

We are a non-medical home care company that provides assistance to adults that are elderly, the handicap and disabled, and diagnosed with cognitive disabilities.  We have CNAs and home care aides that will assist with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living).  Our service allows people to remain in the comfort or their homes for as long as possible in hopes of preventing unnecessary institutionalization.   Patricia Home Care also offers sitter/companionship services for families that have a loved one in the hospital, nursing home, assisted living , or at home.  Our company aims to provide the safest and best care possible while maintaining the dignity and respect of our clients.  Our company also aims to help provide a "piece of mind" and reassurance that their loved one is taken care of and safe.

Patriot Hospice & Palliative Care is a private, independent and locally-operated program. We provide Hospice, Palliative and Physician services.

Pee Dee Community Project, LLC. is a non-profit organization that is instrumental in providing a variety of programs that serve community members of every age and background. Our mission is to foster a community where all residents have the knowledge, skills, support and confidence to succeed in all areas of life. 

We are the only community health center in the nation also designated as an Area Agency on Aging and an Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) by the State of South Carolina, the Administration on Aging and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Called Vantage Point, we are the first place to get accurate, unbiased information on all aspects of life-related to aging or living with a disability.

Our mission is to help families living in Marion County, SC and surrounding areas to have better health and social outcomes. 

Pickens County Meals on Wheels exists to combat the effects of hunger, loneliness and isolation on senior citizens living in Pickens County, and to provide a lifeline through the use of caring volunteers. Our vision is to provide continuum of care for active, aging and homebound individuals by providing daily meals; social, cultural and educational activities and connecting individuals and their families to the services to ensure they are a valued member of our community. Pickens County Meals on Wheels serves over 360 homebound clients in Pickens County daily. 

The program also includes Young at Heart, a place for older adults to participate in activities, social connection, and dine for lunch. No cost and Low cost services are available. 

Piedmont Agency on Aging provides free home-delivered meals to seniors 60 and older in Greenwood, Abbeville, Laurens and Saluda Counties. Other services provided are senior center meals and transportation to the centers and medical appointments. Low and no cost services are available.

 Our residents have access to a choice of home health agencies that provide regular personal care assessments. Staff members who are on call 24 hours a day work with residents to tailor plans for all levels of care needed, with services including medication reminders and administration, incontinence care, special nutritional counseling and escort and transfer assistance available if and when needed. Residents also can obtain bathing, dressing and grooming assistance and medication administration as necessary.

Physical, occupational and speech therapies are available on site as conveniences to our residents, who also have access to psychotherapy services. Wellness, walking, balance and exercise classes also are offered on a regular basis.
