The Kershaw County Council on Aging's purpose is "to do the things that may be necessary, proper, or advantageous to promote the welfare of the aging population of Kershaw County." 

KCCOA has provided a place for seniors to enjoy a meal and social activities such as exercise classes and local tours. Low-cost and no-cost services are available.   

Individual care, treatment, personal safety, fire safety, and well being of adults 18 years or older.

Koger Home Care, LLC is a non-medical home care agency. Our agency provides care to all age groups in many counties across the state. We strive to assist our clients with their Activities of Daily Living Skills (ADL’s), such as personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, feeding, walking, and medication reminders. Additionally, we offer errands, light cleaning, transportation, companionship, respite relief care, as well as live-in caregivers. Our services are designed to allow the client to stay in their home in lieu of residential nursing facilities.

We provide services to all age groups. Our services are perfect for clients who are seniors, disabled, veterans, critically or chronically ill, after surgery care, head injuries, cancer/chemotherapy, injuries from falls or accidents, immobility, kidney failure/dialysis, non-compliant behaviors, and more.

We specialize in clients with memory and cognitive dysfunctions (Alzheimer’s, Dementia, strokes, Parkinson, etc..), mental health diagnoses, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Our caregivers are experienced, extensively trained and must continue quarterly and annual training, are background checked and compliant with state standards, as well as must pass drug screening.

We observe major holidays and will not provide services to clients during these times.  

We accept clients of all ages, and applicants over 18 years old.        

Provide care for senior citizens 65 and older who need some extra help with activities of daily living.

We are a Non-Profit 501 3c Organization.  Our main service to seniors in SC is serving meals. We deliver hot and/or frozen meals to many areas in the county. We also serve meals on-site at two locations: the town of Bishopville and the SpringHill community.

Serving the Greater Charleston area, Let's Walk is a free service founded by a Physical Therapist to connect people, who need a companion to walk outside, with volunteers who can help. 

Lexington Senior Care Navigation provides senior care navigation, advocacy, and care management services for older adults and their families throughout Lexington and Richland counties. We help families navigate senior living options, home care, rehabilitation, memory care, hospice, financial and legal resources, veteran's benefits, and community services. Through personalized guidance, care coordination, education, and ongoing support, we simplify complex decisions and connect seniors with trusted local resources that promote safety, independence, and quality of life. 

Lexington County Recreation & Aging Commission's Aging Program is a special purpose district whose mission is to improve the quality of life of older adults throughout Lexington County through creative, meaningful, life enriching experiences. This is done through the provision of program services, facilities, and education. Some programs and services may depend on available funds, an individual's severity of need, and the geographic location of the individual. Low and no-cost services are available. 

Life Alarm Services is a two-way medical alert system. 

Life Care Center of Columbia offers inpatient and outpatient Physical, Occupation and Speech therapies in its full-service Rehabilitation Center, which features state-of-the-art, specialized equipment. We also offer compassionate 24-hour Skilled Nursing Care, including Wound Care services, scheduled transportation services and a variety of daily life enrichment activities. Our homelike atmosphere, coupled with our private, semi-private, and suite room options makes Life Care Center of Columbia a choice for your continuum of care needs.

Lions Vision Services empowers the under-served blind and visually impaired in South Carolina to live safe, meaningful, and fulfilling lives. We wok to create a vibrant community in which preventable blindness is eliminated, the blind and visually impaired have the resources necessary to live fulfilling lives, and public perception recognizes the potential and dignity of every blind and visually impaired person. 

We provide Aging Life Care Management services. We assess our clients’ needs, educate them and their caregivers as to the best ways to meet these needs, connect them to resources, and provide on-going advocacy and Care Management services if requested. 

Love 2 HomeCare is a homecare agency serving Lakeview, South Carolina and surrounding areas. Homecare agencies provide non-medical personal care services that allow individuals to remain safely in their homes while receiving assistance with daily activities. 

Love House Academy's Senior Day Program is designed for retired adults over the age of 60 who are looking for a place to remain healthy in Mind, Body, and Soul. Our Senior Day Program is also ideal for seniors who may otherwise be isolated in their home environment. Love House Academy's Senior Day Program is free and open to the public. Currently we are only delivering frozen meals to senior's residence for those who qualify. If you are in need of free meals to be delivered to your residence due to medical, health, or inabilities, please contact us for support.
