Respite Care Charleston is a nonprofit organization providing support and services for families affected by Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia.  Services include half-day memory care (respite), caregiver support groups, one-on-one caregiver consultations, education and referrals, and programs for those with mild cognitive impairment or early-stage dementia.  

Many RCC services are offered at no cost, and scholarships are available to ensure no family is denied support due to financial constraints.

To ensure accessibility, services are offered at several locations in Mt. Pleasant, West Ashley, North Charleston, James Island and Johns Island.

Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home is managed by the South Carolina Department of Mental Health and operated by HMR Governmental Services on behalf of the State.Admission to the Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home is limited to Veterans who have been separated from the U.S. Armed Forces under honorable conditions and qualify as South Carolina residents who are in need of skilled or intermediate nursing home care. Eligible Veterans must have served on active duty.

Samaritan Bed and Bath Services is locally owned and independent non-medical in-home care business that was established in 2000. We have on staff experienced RNs, LPNs, CNAs, personal care aides, sitters, and companions to attend to a variety of personal care needs. Our services include bed and bath service, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and running errands. These services extend to people with disabilities or special needs like autism. 

Our services are available 24 hours a day. We'll come to your home, hospital, assisted living or nursing home facility. We are approved by the Alzheimer's Association and have been successful in assisting clients to remain in their own homes. 

Santee-Lynches Area Agency on Aging, serve as a forum of governments, advocating a regional vision through identification of opportunities, effective courses of action, and appropriate resources essential to enable local governments to enhance the quality of life of the citizens of Clarendon, Kershaw, Lee and Sumter Counties.

Scutta Advocacy Group provides professional advocacy and concierge life care management for seniors and those challenged by illness or disability. With wisdom, integrity, and compassion, we consider the complete lives of our clients, including medical advocacy, environmental, financial advocacy, and emotional well-being. 

Our Nurse Advocates (RN) and Physician Assistant Advocates are teamed with Certified Senior Advisors and others to gracefully provide these services.
