Waccamaw Area Agency on Aging (AAA), exists to provide services and resources to seniors and their caregivers in the Waccamaw Region. The AAA offers the support many senior residents need to continue living comfortable, high-quality lives in their own homes for as long as possible.

We assist seniors with activities of daily living including meal preparation, light house keeping, and personal care. Our assistance will help ensure your loved one can stay living independently in their own home.

Mobile Phlebotomy and Health Care Services (MPHC) provides personal care services to seniors and adults with disabilities. These services include providing assistance with eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and activities of daily living as specified in the plan of care.

In addition to personal care, MPHC provides phlebotomy services in their own labs or they can personal travel to your home to meet you.

Our Home Care agency promotes positive aging by providing the best care at our client's homes or facilities.  We are a 24/7 service that can provide one-on-one personal care and/or companion care.  We have skilled caregivers for Alzheimer's and Dementia and also have a Parkinson's care program.  We aim to keep your loved one safe, comfortable, and happy.  We offer transportation for them to run their errands, visit friends, attend medical appointments, or just enjoy a ride out on a nice day.   Our caregivers can help with med reminders, light housekeeping, meal prep and assist with your loved one's daily tasks.  

Koger Home Care, LLC is a non-medical home care agency. Our agency provides care to all age groups in many counties across the state. We strive to assist our clients with their Activities of Daily Living Skills (ADL’s), such as personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, feeding, walking, and medication reminders. Additionally, we offer errands, light cleaning, transportation, companionship, respite relief care, as well as live-in caregivers. Our services are designed to allow the client to stay in their home in lieu of residential nursing facilities.

We provide services to all age groups. Our services are perfect for clients who are seniors, disabled, veterans, critically or chronically ill, after surgery care, head injuries, cancer/chemotherapy, injuries from falls or accidents, immobility, kidney failure/dialysis, non-compliant behaviors, and more.

We specialize in clients with memory and cognitive dysfunctions (Alzheimer’s, Dementia, strokes, Parkinson, etc..), mental health diagnoses, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Our caregivers are experienced, extensively trained and must continue quarterly and annual training, are background checked and compliant with state standards, as well as must pass drug screening.

We observe major holidays and will not provide services to clients during these times.  

We accept clients of all ages, and applicants over 18 years old.

Our goals of promoting health and wellness, and our coordination of key services have provided the priceless gift of independence for many seniors in York and Chester counties.

BeWell Home Services is the home care ministry of the Lutheran Homes of South Carolina (LHSC) offering non-medical care for clients to promote independence among older adults living at home or wherever they deem to be home.

We offer our clients with many non-medical, home-based services that range from light housework to assistance with daily living and everything in between.

Evan Guthrie Law Firm provides estate planning, probate, elder law, durable power of attorney, wills, living trust, personal injury, prenuptial agreement, and family law assistance.

Caregivers of the Upstate specializes in care and daily living assistance to an array of individuals. Whether you need daily or weekly assistance due to aging, illness, recovery, or rehabilitation, our care givers will provide an individualized service that you can trust. 

We provide background screenings and drug testing for all caregivers prior to placement. Our supervisory nurses assess and work with each client to create the proper care plan and routinely visit to address any plan changes. Karing In Mind LLC is a licensed provider in the State of SC that provides in-home care and assistance with activities of daily living. Transportation is not provided with these services. Aides cannot accompany you to your appointments or daily errands.

Gentiva Hospice provides end of life care at home or home like setting (Assited Living, Nursing Home, Residential Care home)

Pickens County Meals on Wheels exists to combat the effects of hunger, loneliness and isolation on senior citizens living in Pickens County, and to provide a lifeline through the use of caring volunteers. Our vision is to provide continuum of care for active, aging and homebound individuals by providing daily meals; social, cultural and educational activities and connecting individuals and their families to the services to ensure they are a valued member of our community. Pickens County Meals on Wheels serves over 360 homebound clients in Pickens County daily. 

The program also includes Young at Heart, a place for older adults to participate in activities, social connection, and dine for lunch. No cost and Low cost services are available. 

Help low-income homeowners with low interest, long term loans to have a water well drilled or rehabilitated if they are currently living without a water supply.

Guardian Angel Senior Care is a home health agency that provides structured caregiving services to seniors in South Carolina. They provide non-skilled services and help with activities of daily living. 

PurFoods, LLC dba Mom’s Meals (“Mom’s Meals”) is a USDA-inspected food preparation and home-delivered meal service dedicated to providing delicious meals to our customers nationwide. Mom’s Meals strives to be the leading provider of aging, disabled and patient nutrition solutions that preserve health, help combat chronic disease, support recuperation and nourish independence for high-quality living at home. Mom's Meal's mission is to help keep seniors & individuals with disabilities in the comfort of their homes as long as possible by delivering nutritious meals directly to their homes. We have grown to provide daily in-home nutrition support for over 180,000 unique clients across the country. We utilize a HIPAA-compliant database that tracks each client's ordering history, feedback, notes from Case Managers, etc. Every client's order is maintained in their respective account and includes the number of meals for each delivery and delivery verification.
